These are the four prevalent races of the past. This era had no electricity, nor much of the technology that the present and the future holds, therefore a character cannot be an android that is made in the Past.
Elf Elves are a nature orientated race, perhaps one of the oldest races in existence. They are usually tall, delicate boned, with fine hair, very little facial hair, and ears that end in points. They mature at around age 100, and can live for up to 10,000 years. Elves are not fighters by nature, though they are capable of defending themselves if the time calls for it. They are capable of fast healing, though excessive blood loss, starvation, disease, old age or damage to internal organs can be fatal.
They are vegetarians, meaning they don't eat meat. At all. Their weapons range from light swords such as rapiers, katanas, longsword or xiphos to a composite bow, or a light flail. Elves do not use heavy weaponry such as war hammers, axes or heavy swords (ie, broad swords). For traveling, they ride horses, or walk. They are also capable of magic that is orientated with nature, as well as healing.
Drows are dark elves, they share the same lineage as the elven kind, though choose to serve the darkness, rather than the light. Drows however, are also capable of learning dark magic, though it is rarely practiced.
Elves can cross-breed with humans, but not with Orcs. Cross-breeding between humans and elves is rare, and the offspring are usually shunned and out casted by both races, so think twice.
***The Drow and the Elves are at an eternal war. Prior to the turn of the 'present', the two ended up destroying themselves, therefore Elven characters cannot be from the Present or Future Ages***
Human Humans are predominant throughout all three time eras. They come in all shapes and all sizes, with different coloured skin, eyes and hair depending on the regions they live in (climate and so on). They mature at roughly 18, and can live to be around 80 years of age. Humans can range from passive aggressive to aggressive conquerers by nature, they are not rapid healers and excessive blood loss, starvation, disease, old age or a wound to their internal organs can be fatal.
Humans are omnivorous. Their weaponry ranges from all sword types, to most types of bow, flail, spear/quarterstaff. They are able to use heavy weapons, though most prefer not to. Humans are born with an element within them as per the premise of this game, but cannot learn any other type of magic outside of this. Travel is by foot, or by horse.
Orc Orcs are an aggressive race. They can stand at 7 foot tall, with a wide body stance and strong muscles. It is rare for an Orc to be under 5'5 in height. They are broadly built, including the women, and have fangs, occasionally with snouts, oily and rough skin, and little to no hair.
They are a kamikaze race, they mature when they reach 15, and will only live to their mid 40s, and are susceptible to disease.They are not fast healers, and excessive blood loss, disease, starvation, old age, or a wound to the internal organs can be fatal.
They are carnivorous, often feeding on carrion if no other food source is available, and even cannibalism as a last resort. They use heavy weaponry such as war hammers and axes, and are rarely seen using a bow or sword. They have no magical properties, aside from the element they are born with, though they cannot use its magical properties. Travel is by foot.
They have only recently integrated themselves into the human lifestyle as their race is slowly dying out. They are capable of breeding with the humans, but the resulting offspring are usually feared by humans, and will only live to their mid twenties.
***Orc numbers are rapidly declining, and even after their integration into human society, the race died out before the 'present' age.***
Halfling Halflings (also known as dwarves- which are an underground relative) work on the same basis as the human race, with a few minor differences. Halflings are so named this because their maximum height is 4'5, with children's maximum height being 2-3 foot. They mature at roughly 20, and can live to be up to 100 or more, depending on health. They can possess different coloured skin, eyes and hair depending on the regions they live in (climate and so on). Halflings are all passive aggressive, they are not rapid healers and excessive blood loss, starvation, disease, old age or a wound to their internal organs can be fatal.
They are omnivorous by nature. Halflings prefer not to fight, though they can use small and light swords, and small bows if necessary. No heavy weaponry or long bows/swords. Travel is by foot, or on ponies.
Halflings cannot breed with any other races.
***The Halfling races was oppressed by the Drow, and were wiped out before the 'present' age.***
