Where We Go From Here... « Thread Started on Oct 28, 2007, 6:05pm »
When Walker found himself stopped falling he hit ground hard and was staring up at the dark of night. His heart ached knowing he'd left his beloved master behind. He could only hope that Voden would keep his promise and find the young fire caster once more. He sighed heavily and just lay there staring at nothing until all of a sudden there was a face in his way of the beautiful dark sky over head. Quickly he scrambled up and in an instant noticed he was surrounded by slightly dirty humans.
"He fell from the sky! I seen it Master!" Walker gasped and turned his inhuman purple eyes towards the sound of a child talking. The dirty faced boy was now being petted by long white fingers that had pointed nails that looked like talons. "I saw it as well, thank you Joshua..." Walker blinked and watched the strange creature drift towards him. "Worry not strange traveler..." Said a deep silken voice.
Walker felt himself gulp as he stared up at the pale faced man. "I am Abel and you are in the sanctuary of myself and my followers. Please...do not be afraid." The man made a sweeping bow and Walker offered a bit of a bow himself. "Lord Abel...it is a pleasure. I am known as the Fire Walker...I..." He bit his bottom lip and shifted a bit. "My master and myself were caught in a battle with angels...I was thrown into nothingness and then, I awoke here."
The entire group gasped and Abel put long finger tips to his blood kissed lips. "Oh my...what a terrible ordeal. Please, come with me Fire Walker. None shall harm you amongst us." Abel reached out a hand and Walker gulped as his hand trembled a bit, but reached to grasp it. "Thank you M'Lord Abel...I would very much appreciate a bit of food and perhaps a bed. I will not trouble you for very long." The dark haired man shook his head as he practically glided across the ground, leading Walker towards what looked like an above-ground crypt. "It is no trouble at all. I would be a fool of a vampire if I refused a man who battles angels..."
Abel had winked at Walker and it made the young man blush just slightly. The vampire took note of Walker's blush and it made him lick his overly sharp teeth. This one was so luscious, so lovely...he would have him as long as he could manage. And if he was lucky, perhaps the young man's master would never find his way to retrieve him...The door to the crypt banged closed sharply as Walker was led down into the depths of Abel's dark lair.
